The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, "Monsha'at," concluded Innovation Week in partnership with the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, with the participation of over 60 enabling entities from the public and private sectors. The events took place at SMEs Support centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar, aiming to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the innovation sector, while also providing a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their startups and products to visitors and beneficiaries. The week witnessed the attendance of more than 1,300 beneficiaries at entrepreneurial meetings that varied in focus, featuring success stories from a group of entrepreneurs who turned their innovations into investment projects. Topics included the mechanics of franchising, the importance of cultural identity, intellectual property rights, and the role of enabling entities like the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority in supporting and sustaining this sector. During the week, over 700 advisory sessions were held across all centers, attracting more than 2,000 visitors. The week also included the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at supporting the innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship, promoting a culture of entrepreneurship among students, and supporting startups in developing innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. This reflects the authority's commitment to expanding the scope of innovation and supportive partnerships for entrepreneurial projects. Through organizing specialized weeks, "Monsha'at" aims to continue its supportive role in opening avenues for small and medium enterprises by collaborating with all partners to provide opportunities for entrepreneurs, contributing to achieving the growth objectives of small and medium enterprises and ensuring their sustainability and growth.
