"Monsha’at" and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences Sign an Agreement to Support Health Innovation Projects

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) has signed a cooperation agreement today with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Youssef Al-Benyan. This agreement aims to support the winning projects of the Health Innovation Hackathon through the services, programs, and initiatives that “Monsha’at” works on to support entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency the University President, Dr. Bandar bin Abdulmohsen Al-Qenawi, and the Deputy Governor of Monsha’at for Entrepreneurship, Saud Al-Sabhan, as part of the Health Innovation Hackathon events.
The agreement aims to provide the necessary support for the winning projects of the Health Innovation Hackathon by offering workspaces, advisory services, and connecting the winners with a network of investors to support them in developing their products for market entry. Additionally, it provides the opportunity for the winners to benefit from the programs offered by Monsha’at Academy and the university, contributing to the dissemination of the entrepreneurial culture by offering the "Entrepreneurship Fundamentals" curriculum to university students.
This agreement demonstrates the support of Monsha’at and the university for entrepreneurs and innovators through their integration and partnership to enhance the level of programs and activities that support SMEs, including hosting experts and specialists to participate in events held at SMEs Support Centers and Startup Hubs.
Through such agreements, Monsha’at aims to achieve the highest level of collaboration with all government and private entities in various sectors to support entrepreneurs and SMEs in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
