Saudi Entrepreneurs Begin Participation in Web Summit as Part of Monsha’at Delegation

The delegation of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” officially began its participation in Web Summit Lisbon 2025 today, held in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. The summit is considered one of the world’s largest technology gatherings, bringing together more than 70,000 innovators and investors from 160 countries.
On the second day of the visit program, Saudi companies with strong potential for international expansion attended a number of summit sessions and workshops, while showcasing their entrepreneurial experiences to an international audience of investors, experts, and entrepreneurs, as part of Monsha’at’s efforts to enable national companies to expand globally and build international partnerships.
The Saudi delegation also continued, in collaboration with Unicorn Factory Lisboa, to hold bilateral meetings with representatives of European companies and investors to discuss cooperation opportunities in technology, digital transformation, and e-commerce, as well as explore prospects for developing strategic partnerships in new markets.
Monsha’at emphasized that the Saudi delegation’s participation in the summit reflects its continued initiatives to support Saudi startups and strengthen their global competitiveness through programs that enable them to explore international innovation ecosystems and benefit from global expertise in building scalable business models.
The summit’s activities will continue over the coming days with the participation of the Monsha’at delegation and several Saudi entrepreneurs, who will present their projects during side events and participate in investor meetings and knowledge-exchange sessions bringing together leading global technology companies.
