A delegation from the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” continued its five-day tour in Silicon Valley, California, as part of a delegation comprising six Saudi fast-growing companies operating across diverse sectors. The tour comes under Monsha’at’s initiative to support potential unicorn companies and enable their international expansion.
On the second day of the tour, Monsha’at organized three panel discussions and workshops covering several topics, including venture capital opportunities for expansion, IPO readiness, and the challenges and opportunities facing the startup ecosystem overall.
The sessions and workshops featured a group of venture capital investors, advisors, and experts, including Zamir Shukho, General Partner and Founder at Vibranium VC, Rahul Varshneya, Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley, and Roja Amrollah, Senior Vice President at Plug and Play Tech Center.
Through organizing such tours, Monsha’at seeks to enable Saudi entrepreneurs to connect with global networks of investors and experts, while creating direct impact on the growth and sustainability journey of Saudi startups, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support the knowledge economy and strengthen the global presence of national companies.
