Monsha’at Launches Franchise Tour in Al Ahsa

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” today launched the Franchise Tour in Al Ahsa Governorate, which will run for two days with the participation of 21 brands and a number of public and private entities supporting entrepreneurship.

The tour features 10 specialized workshops, along with consulting and guidance sessions, in addition to showcasing success stories from various brands across different sectors. The program also discusses challenges and promising opportunities within diverse franchising fields, with the participation of six enabling entities from both the public and private sectors.

The first day included a panel discussion featuring Dr. Ibrahim Alshekmubarak, Secretary General of Al Ahsa Chamber, who highlighted the Chamber’s key services aimed at creating a supportive environment for franchisors and investors and enabling the franchising sector in the governorate. He also reviewed the most notable solutions and services provided by government entities that have contributed to overcoming challenges facing franchisors and investors.

Mohammed Al-Mulhim, Co-Founder and Deputy CEO of Communications at Ratio, also discussed the role of franchising in expanding brands, while reviewing the journey of listing brands on the parallel market.

The tour will continue tomorrow with specialized workshops on franchise opportunity assessment, expansion strategies, and the role of supply chains, in addition to highlighting Monsha’at’s services provided to entrepreneurs.
