Monsha’at Concludes Franchise Tour in Al Ahsa

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” concluded the ninth edition of the Franchise Tour, held in Al Ahsa Governorate from December 29 to 30, to introduce specialized services and programs in the franchising sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to foster a supportive business environment for SMEs and contribute to a prosperous and sustainable economy.

The previous nine tours attracted nearly 6,500 visitors, while 1,098 participants benefited from panel discussions. In addition, 628 consulting sessions were conducted, providing direct support services to entrepreneurs, alongside the participation of more than 2,900 beneficiaries in workshops. The tours also featured 218 brands and 52 enabling entities, resulting in the signing of 24 franchising agreements.

Al Ahsa tour included a panel discussion on key solutions and services provided to brands, as well as opportunities for expansion and listing on the parallel market. The session featured Dr. Ibraheem Alshekmubarak‏, Secretary General of Al Ahsa Chamber, and Mohammed Al-Mulhim, Co-Founder and Deputy CEO of Communications at Ratio.

As part of the tour, Monsha’at organized 10 specialized workshops in collaboration with several enabling entities. The workshops highlighted success stories from various brands across multiple sectors and offered consulting and guidance sessions in franchising to encourage expansion and investment through the franchising business model. The event also featured 21 brands presenting their investment opportunities to entrepreneurs and interested participants.

The tour witnessed the participation of six enabling entities from both the public and private sectors, providing services to entrepreneurs and attendees. Consultants and experts from various franchising fields were also present to support visitors and answer inquiries related to the franchising model.
