Under the patronage of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, the Ministry signed a series of strategic agreements aimed at supporting entrepreneurship projects in the industrial and mining sectors and providing enabling solutions for non-profit organizations operating in these fields. The signing took place during Biban Forum 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Assistant Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Ahmeri.
The agreements include a cooperation framework between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and Monsha’at to enhance collaboration in empowering entrepreneurial projects through several key tracks. These include a training and qualification track that focuses on designing a specialized program for industrial entrepreneurs within Monsha’at Academy, as well as a project development track that enables entrepreneurs to benefit from Monsha’at innovation centers to develop prototypes and technical solutions, in addition to connecting them with incubators and growth accelerators.
The cooperation also includes support for startup factories by facilitating access to industrial services and enablers within the government ecosystem, as well as launching quarterly investment rounds dedicated to industrial entrepreneurs to connect them with investors, grow their projects, and stimulate industrial investment.
The agreement also aims to support industrial and mining non-profit organizations, enhance their economic and social impact, and enable them to develop innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to strengthen the non-profit sector and increase its contribution to GDP.
This cooperation reflects the strategic partnership between the Ministry and Monsha’at to develop an enabling ecosystem for non-profit organizations in industrial and mining sectors, and to support their participation in community-driven initiatives that contribute to economic growth and sustainable development.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources by Undersecretary for Strategy and Development Abdullah Al-Fares, and on behalf of Monsha’at by Vice Governor for Entrepreneurship Saud Alsabhan.
The agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to supporting and empowering entrepreneurs in the industrial and mining sectors, and to enhancing integration between the government and non-profit sectors through development initiatives that contribute to strengthening the national economy. It also reinforces the Kingdom’s leading role in building an effective and impactful non-profit sector aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
