Oman Records Strong Presence at Biban Forum 2025 with Participation of 32 Startups

The Sultanate of Oman recorded a strong presence at Biban Forum 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” under the theme Global Destination for Opportunities, with the participation of 32 startups across the forum’s various sections. This reflects Oman’s commitment to strengthening the presence of Omani brands, supporting entrepreneurs, exploring investment opportunities, and building partnerships for expansion into regional markets.

Eng. Hamoud bin Salem Al Saadi, Second Vice Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Head of the Franchise Center Committee, and Head of the participating delegation, stated that the Chamber’s participation in Biban Forum 2025 stems from its commitment to attending specialized regional events in entrepreneurship and franchising.

He noted that the forum serves as an important platform to promote Omani brands and build high-value partnerships with counterparts from Saudi Arabia and other participating countries. He also emphasized that the participation supports Oman’s efforts to diversify its economy, enabling business owners to benefit from franchising opportunities for expansion across the GCC and internationally, while also accessing best practices and accompanying training programs to enhance project readiness for sustainable growth.

Several Omani entrepreneurs expressed appreciation for the forum’s role in accelerating the transition from idea to business establishment, expanding networking opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.

Entrepreneur Amwaj Rashid Al Shihi described Biban as one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs and a key gateway to investment opportunities in the region. Meanwhile, hydrogen solutions entrepreneur Hoor Al Dhoyani noted that her participation aims to attract investors and expand beyond Oman into GCC markets. Mohamed Al Rawahi highlighted that Biban, over the years, has become an effective platform for empowering entrepreneurs in the Gulf and the wider region, praising the strength of the Saudi economy and its diverse opportunities, particularly in the rapidly growing gaming sector, which offers promising prospects for development and content creation companies.

Biban Forum 2025 aims to foster a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem based on innovation and sustainability through programs and initiatives focused on capacity building and SME empowerment, in addition to offering training content, specialized workshops, and a practical platform for showcasing solutions, forming partnerships, and exploring expansion opportunities.
