Deputy Governor of Jazan Region Receives Governor of “Monsha’at”
His Royal Highness Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Deputy Governor of Jazan Region, received today at the Emirate headquarters the Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” Sami bin Ibrahim Al Hussaini, as part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and review the authority’s programs and initiatives supporting entrepreneurs in the region.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness reviewed several initiatives implemented by Monsha’at in the region and discussed ways to enhance cooperation with relevant entities to support the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and achieve the desired developmental impact.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the entrepreneurship and SME sector receives significant support and attention from the Kingdom’s leadership, given its role as a key pillar in achieving sustainable economic diversification and increasing private sector contribution to GDP in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
He also highlighted the important role played by Monsha’at in strengthening the entrepreneurial environment across the Kingdom through its support and financing programs, development initiatives, and advisory services that contribute to enhancing the quality and efficiency of SMEs and enabling their growth and competitiveness. He noted that the Jazan Region possesses promising investment potential in tourism, agriculture, and services, stressing the importance of directing more high-impact initiatives and projects toward the region and intensifying training and qualification efforts for entrepreneurs to enhance local economic growth opportunities and support the comprehensive development plans underway across Jazan.
For his part, the Governor of Monsha’at expressed his appreciation to the Governor of the Jazan Region and his Deputy for their continued support of the authority’s efforts and programs in entrepreneurship development. He affirmed that Monsha’at is committed to strengthening its presence across the Kingdom’s regions and delivering services tailored to the needs of each region in cooperation with partners from both the public and private sectors.
He added that the authority is working on developing several specialized programs and initiatives aimed at motivating entrepreneurs, facilitating business establishment and development, and enabling SMEs to access financing and markets.
