The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, is launching Sports Week from February 1 to 5, 2026, as part of its Business Weeks series. The initiative aims to support and empower SMEs and entrepreneurs and connect them with investment opportunities across promising sectors.

The Sports Week comes amid the rapid growth of the sports sector in the Kingdom and the diverse opportunities it offers for SMEs and entrepreneurs, contributing to the expansion of their business activities, increasing their participation in sector-related services and initiatives, and supporting income diversification in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The program will be implemented through SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh and Al Madinah, as well as in Jeddah and Al Khobar, enabling access to a wide range of entrepreneurs and SME owners across the Kingdom.

The week features a series of panel discussions, entrepreneurial meetings, and consulting sessions, with the participation of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Sports, Bader AlKadi, along with senior leaders and officials from the sports sector. It also brings together entities from both the public and private sectors, sports clubs, and companies operating in sports investment, innovation, financing, and operations, in addition to a group of specialists and stakeholders.

The activities will address several key themes, including investment opportunities in the sports sector, the role of SMEs in related services and activities, prospects for collaboration with sports clubs and entities, as well as highlighting major sporting events and the growth opportunities they present.

The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to enhance SMEs’ and entrepreneurs’ access to investment opportunities within the sports sector and its evolving transformation across various levels.
