The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” concluded Sports Week, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and several public and private sector entities, at SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh and Al Madinah, as well as in Jeddah and Al Khobar. The initiative aimed to empower SMEs and entrepreneurs to capitalize on investment opportunities in the sports sector.

The week featured five panel discussions and several entrepreneurial meetings, with participation from officials of the Ministry of Sports across various sectors. Speakers highlighted the importance of public–private partnerships and the role of SMEs as a key driver of growth in the sports sector. They also showcased investment opportunities in operations, technology, and digital transformation, as well as regulatory enablement efforts that streamline investor journeys and support the development of sustainable sports projects. The discussions further emphasized the investment potential of major sporting events hosted in the Kingdom.

The event included 500 consulting sessions and more than 50 workshops across all centers, benefiting over 1,400 entrepreneurs and SME owners from diverse sectors. It also attracted strong attendance from visitors and stakeholders interested in sports investment, reinforcing awareness of available opportunities and the role of the private sector in developing the sports economy.

With participation from over 40 public and private entities, Sports Week helped connect entrepreneurs with investment opportunities in the sports sector and introduced them to available financing and regulatory solutions. It also supported stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors, contributing to the development and scaling of sports projects.

Through its specialized weeks, Monsha’at continues its efforts to expand opportunities for SMEs across various sectors, in collaboration with partners to provide high-impact opportunities for entrepreneurs and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
