The Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, Sami Ibrahim Al Hussaini, discussed ways to strengthen cooperation to support and empower the SMEs sector in Al Ahsa Governorate during his meeting with the Chairman of the Al Ahsa Chamber, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Afaleq, and members of the Chamber’s Board. The meeting comes as part of efforts to enhance integration between both sides in serving the sector.

The discussions focused on areas of collaboration between Monsha'at and the Al Ahsa Chamber, emphasizing the importance of directing efforts toward supporting the expansion of SMEs and enabling them to benefit from the economic opportunities and resources available in the governorate, contributing to sustainable business growth.

The Governor highlighted that Al Ahsa enjoys a diverse productive economic base that has supported the growth of enterprises across various sectors, creating broader opportunities for SMEs and entrepreneurs to expand and scale their businesses in a sustainable way both within and beyond the governorate.

He also stressed the importance of enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs, enabling them to move beyond the local market to wider horizons, and maximizing their economic impact to support business continuity and growth.

In addition, the Governor met with entrepreneurs and SME owners in Al Ahsa, where they discussed challenges related to expansion and growth, explored business development opportunities, and reviewed Monsha’at’s support programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the sustainability of their ventures.
