Monsha’at Hosts “Innovation Week” with Participation from 40 Public and Private Entities

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” is launching “Innovation Week” in partnership with the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA), the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). The event will take place from April 19 to 26, 2026, as part of Monsha’at Business Weeks series, aimed at supporting and empowering SMEs and entrepreneurs while connecting them with investment opportunities in high-potential sectors.
Several government and supporting entities are taking part in the week, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON). Their participation focuses on raising awareness among entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the innovation sector, while introducing the services, programs, and funding solutions offered by both public and private sector enablers.
The event will be held across SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh and Madinah, as well as in Jeddah and Al Khobar, helping reach a wide segment of entrepreneurs and SME owners across different regions of Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the Innovation Week will feature a series of panel discussions, entrepreneurial meetups, and consultation and guidance sessions, with the participation of senior officials and experts. These include the H.E. President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, the Acting Governor of the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, Dr. Munir Eldesouki, and the CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed AlSuwailem, alongside other distinguished guests. Discussions will highlight the role of SMEs in driving innovation and showcase available investment opportunities in the sector.
The week will cover several key themes, including opportunities for entrepreneurs in deep tech and advanced innovation, the commercialization of intellectual property, as well as innovations in e-commerce, marketing, and artificial intelligence.
Innovation Week comes as part of Monsha’at’s ongoing efforts to enhance how SMEs and entrepreneurs benefit from the opportunities created by the innovation sector and its rapid transformation across various industries.
