Monsha’at discusses with key enablers ways to boost partnerships between large companies and innovative enterprises

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, brought together key innovation enablers to explore ways to strengthen partnerships between large corporations and innovative SMEs across Saudi Arabia. The discussion took place during a roundtable held as part of "Innovation Week" at the SMEs Support Center in Riyadh, aimed at driving innovation adoption and turning ideas into viable business opportunities.

The roundtable focused on building stronger connections between major companies and innovative enterprises, helping accelerate the adoption of new solutions and transforming them into scalable, market-ready ventures.

The session was attended by several prominent entities in the innovation ecosystem, including the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, the Research Development and Innovation Authority, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Saud University, the National Technology Development Program, ROSHN Group, and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE).

Participants also highlighted key challenges facing collaboration between large companies and innovative SMEs, particularly around the visibility and accessibility of opportunities. The discussion further explored the role of regulatory and service-based incentives in enhancing SMEs’ readiness, along with practical recommendations to better align strategic priorities with real-world implementation.

"Innovation Week" is being held across SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, and Madinah, in partnership with several government entities. Running until April 26, 2026, the event is part of a broader series of Business Weeks designed to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the innovation sector.

The event comes amid the rapid growth of Saudi Arabia’s innovation landscape, which continues to create high-quality opportunities for SMEs in key sectors, supporting their expansion and contributing to the diversification of the national economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
