Monsha’at Organizes Funding Week to Expand Entrepreneurs’ Access to Funding Solutions

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, in collaboration with SME Bank, will launch Funding Week from 3 to 7 May 2026 as part of its Business Weeks series. The event will take place at SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh and Madinah, as well as in Jeddah and Khobar, aiming to enhance SMEs’ access to funding solutions through the participation of 30 supporting and enabling entities.
The week will host several government and financial organizations, most notably the Capital Market Authority, Saudi Central Bank, Social Development Bank, and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, in addition to more than 28 exhibitors offering funding and advisory services. This will allow SMEs to explore available funding solutions and connect directly with relevant stakeholders.
Funding Week will feature more than 50 entrepreneurial sessions and 8 panel discussions, with participation from leaders and specialists in the financial sector. Featured speakers include Mohammed Elkuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority, and Ibrahim Al-Rashed, CEO of SME Bank, alongside other guests and experts discussing the role of funding in supporting SME growth and improving access to funding solutions.
The event agenda will cover several key themes, including debt and equity financing pathways, SME readiness for funding, and awareness of support initiatives and programs. Among them is the Estrdad initiative, which enables businesses to recover certain paid government fees, helping strengthen their capacity for growth and sustainability during the startup phase.
The week will also include a Demo Day, allowing startups to pitch their businesses to a select group of investors, helping attract funding, unlock growth opportunities, and benefit from direct consultation and guidance.
Through organizing the event, Monsha’at aims to empower SMEs, connect them with funding and enabling entities, and raise awareness of available funding options to support their growth, sustainability, and contribution to the national economy.
Monsha’at also invited SME owners, entrepreneurs, and interested participants to register and benefit from the week’s activities through the official registration link: https://www.monshaat.gov.sa/en/node/460497?invitation-id=1e7b3d32-4aa7-4a5c-885d-467bace377a8
