Monsha’at Organizes Franchise Tour in Al-Khobar with Participation of 20 Brands

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” is organizing the Franchise Tour at SMEs Support Center in Al-Khobar Governorate from May 11 to 12, in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce, the National Transformation Program, the Eastern Region Municipality, the Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center, the Social Development Bank, the SME Bank, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, the Asharqia Chamber, in addition to the Franchise Center.

More than 20 brands are participating in the tour to showcase their investment opportunities to entrepreneurs and interested individuals, aiming to raise awareness of franchising and its regulatory framework, and to connect entrepreneurs, investors, enterprises, and relevant entities to support expansion and investment. This contributes to increasing the sector’s contribution to GDP and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The tour aims to introduce services and programs that support the franchising business model, enhance awareness of its legal, operational, and marketing aspects, encourage expansion, highlight success stories, and provide an integrated investment environment with the participation of enabling and consulting entities.

The program includes an opening session featuring speakers from both the public and private sectors, along with a panel discussion titled “The Role of Franchising in Supporting the Local Economy, Key Investment Opportunities, and Government Services Offered.”

The event also features 8 specialized workshops in diverse fields of franchising. On its first day, the workshops cover legal aspects of franchising, terminology, documentation, and requirements, how to access accredited brokerage services, brand marketing, and developing operational manuals. Day two workshops focus on acquiring franchise rights and evaluating investment opportunities, expansion strategies under franchising models, the franchise acquisition journey, and the role of supply chains.

The tour also includes a dedicated exhibition hosting franchise owners and entrepreneurs interested in business opportunities, in addition to showcasing inspiring success stories and offering consultation and guidance sessions by certified experts for those interested in entering the franchising sector.
