Monsha’at Concludes Funding Week with 62 Participating Entities and Over 1,200 Consultation Sessions

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank (SME Bank), concluded the activities of Funding Week, held from May 3–7, 2026, across SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, and Madinah, as part of the Business Weeks series. The event featured 62 supporting and participating entities, including more than 28 exhibitors offering funding and consulting services to SMEs.
The week attracted over 3,700 beneficiaries and featured more than 1,200 consultation sessions, over 50 entrepreneurial meetups, 55 workshops, and 8 panel discussions addressing key topics related to the future of funding in the Kingdom.
Sessions covered lending and investment funding pathways, financial literacy, fintech, crowdfunding, cash flow management, credit information, SMEs’ readiness for listing on the capital market, and the role of investment funds and venture capital in supporting business growth and sustainability.
The event featured participation from H.E. Mohammed Elkuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), Ibrahim Alrashid, CEO of SME Bank, and Homam Hashem, CEO of Kafalah Program, alongside several leaders, experts, and specialists from the financial sector.
A number of government and financial entities also took part, including the Capital Market Authority, the Saudi Central Bank, the Social Development Bank, and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, enabling SMEs to explore funding options and connect directly with relevant stakeholders.
During the event, Monsha’at signed an agreement with the Financial Academy to enhance financial awareness among entrepreneurs and SMEs through joint training and awareness programs, as well as the development of educational and knowledge-based content aimed at strengthening financial management capabilities and supporting business sustainability and growth.
Monsha’at also signed an agreement with the Saudi Credit Information Company (SIMAH) to collaborate on advancing the entrepreneurial and SMEs funding ecosystem through awareness initiatives and outreach programs designed to improve understanding of funding solutions and increase utilization of related services in line with applicable regulations in the Kingdom.
The organization of Funding Week reflects Monsha’at’s ongoing efforts to empower SMEs, enhance awareness of funding opportunities, and strengthen connections with funding and enabling entities, contributing to business growth, sustainability, and increased participation in the national economy in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
