The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" has won the "Emerging Technology Adoption Readiness Index for 2024" award presented by the Digital Government Authority. The Emerging Technology Adoption Readiness Index is an annual indicator that contributes to monitoring the progress made by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at" in adopting emerging technologies. The index primarily focuses on identifying the current level of readiness for adopting emerging technologies, monitoring gaps, and planning the necessary steps to contribute to enhancing the development of required capabilities and highlighting the potential impact of the successful integration of emerging technologies to achieve the desired benefits. The index is based on several criteria for the winning entities, the most prominent of which are the diversity of sectors for the participating entities, the diversity of their services and the nature of the services they provide to the beneficiaries, as well as their ability to adopt and expand emerging technologies. The evaluation is carried out through an organized mechanism based on four main capabilities: research, communication, proof, and integration.
