The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” is organizing the "Export and Import Week" events, with the participation of several enabling entities from both the public and private sectors, during the period from December 8 to 12. The events will be held at SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh and Madinah, as well as in Jeddah and Al-Khobar. The "Export and Import Week," which includes participation from various enabling entities such as the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Export-Import Bank, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, the Saudi Standards Organization, the General Authority for Ports, and the Cities Authority, aims to educate entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the export and import sector by introducing them to the services and programs offered by governmental, private, and financial entities that support small and medium enterprises in the sector. During the week, support councils for enterprises will be held along with many in-person and virtual meetings, as well as success stories in the sector. Participants will include the Vice President for Export Environment and Committee Affairs, Badr bin Fahd Al-Rubaydi; the Vice President for Empowering Exporters, Yasser bin Abdullah Al-Sabali; the Vice President for "Made in Saudi" Program and Promotion, Faisal bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth; the Executive Vice President for Service Exports, Saud bin Hamad Al-Qablan; and the Executive Vice President for Strategy and Planning, Mohammed Said Al-Ghamdi. The week will also feature a range of consultations, guidance, and workshops to enhance the participation of SMEs and entrepreneurs in the export and import sector. Through organizing specialized weeks, Monsha’at aims to continue its supportive role in opening new horizons for SMEs.
