"Monsha’at" Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Jordanian Institution for Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at," signed today a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, represented by the Jordanian Institution for the Development of Economic Projects "JEDCO," with the aim of enhancing economic, trade and investment cooperation in the SMEs sector. The signing ceremony was attended by Monsha’at Governor Sami Al-Husseini and JEDCO Executive Director Abdel Fattah Al-Kayed, on the sidelines of the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum. The memorandum aims to exchange the knowledge and expertise held by both parties to improve the institutional infrastructure and develop SMEs in both countries, organize mutual work visits to improve trade relations between their SMEs, in addition to providing information on trade opportunities related to SMEs, and supporting the organization of training and educational programs for SMEs. The memorandum contributes to enhancing technical and innovative cooperation to improve productivity and competitiveness, support the exchange of promotional activities for the opportunities available to SMEs, and develop models, policies and strategies for entrepreneurship development between the two countries. Through these agreements, Monsha’at seeks to reach the highest levels of cooperation in various sectors to support entrepreneurs and SME owners in achieving the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
