University Project Accelerator
An intensive program designed for university startup entrepreneurs, launched by Monsha'at in cooperation with its global partner, CREEDA, to contribute to the development of university tech startups in the Kingdom. Business accelerators are offered in 3 different regions within a span of 12 weeks.

Spreading the culture of entrepreneurship within universities.

Providing exciting and sustainable job opportunities for Saudi youth.
Target Groups
Owners of minimum viable products (MVP), from undergraduates, graduates, and university staff.
Owners of university tech startups who are graduating students, graduates who completed their course within the previous 3 years, or university staff.
Owners of university tech startups that are affiliated with universities.
Access Conditions
The applicant must be a university student, recent graduate, university staff, or affiliated with the institution.
To have a minimum viable product (MVP), with promising results for initial and current beta releases (as a minimum).
The life of the project, if it currently exists in the market, must range from 1 to 3 years as a maximum.
The project must contain a technical component.
The applicant must attend the program full-time, for a period of 12 weeks.
To have a team capable of implementing the project.
The team must have the relevant experience to manage and monitor the project.
To have sufficient and verifiable project information, notably related to technical, marketing, and financials.
An opportunity must exist in the target market, with a competitive advantage for the project that enables it to grow and add economic value.

The accelerators will be held in Riyadh, Makkah, and Eastern Province respectively.
No, the program is free of charge.
No, the application will be open to all students, graduates, and staff of all universities in the region.
Yes, the program targets owners of existing projects and owners of MVP as a minimum.
It will be held in person and virtually, according to each stage and depending on each program.
Yes, the participant must attend the full accelerator period, either virtually or in-person at the headquarters. The participant must also adhere to the schedule and programs for a full 3 months, and not to be late or absent.
