Selling Pets, Birds, and Aquarium Fish, Along with Their Food and Supplies
Any legal entity specifically equipped to display and sell pets, birds, and aquarium fish, along with their authorized food and supplies.
Preparing the premises
Provide an adequate number of cages and tanks, suitable for the quantities and types of pets, birds, and aquarium fish available for sale.
Cages and tanks must not be placed directly on the floor; they should be elevated on iron stands at least 50 cm off the ground.
All pets, birds, and aquarium fish must be fed according to the enterprise rules and norms for each type, and clean drinking water should be available throughout the day.
The design of the shop and the building's construction must ensure a smooth flow of steps, starting from recieving the pets, birds, and aquarium fish, along with their food and supplies, to their sale to customers.
Ceilings must be dustproof, made of non-absorbent materials, solid, and free of any cracks or openings, with a minimum height of 2.4 meters.
Doors should be made of rust-resistant materials and equipped with a vent (opening) at the top, covered with a sturdy, tightly woven wire mesh made of rust-resistant material to ensure ventilation for the birds and animals displayed inside the shop.
The shop is internally divided into five sections as follows:
Management and Reception Area for suppliers and customers, and for receiving animals.
Storage Area for storing pet food and cleaning supplies.
Isolation Area that must be completely separate to isolate animals and birds in case of suspected illness.
Washing Area, which includes a large reinforced concrete basin at least 60 cm high.
Showroom and Sales Area, located at the front of the shop facing the street, equipped with a sufficient number of cages made from rust-resistant materials.
The business owner must print the "Your Opinion Matters" sticker from the Baladi platform and affix it to the external façade of the enterprise, allowing customers to evaluate the enterprise by scanning the code displayed on the sticker.
