Entrepreneurship World Cup Winners Crowned as Finals End at Biban 24

The winners of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) finals were crowned today as part of Biban 24, in the presence of Her Excellency the Vice Minister of Commerce, Doctor Iman Al-Mutairi; His Excellency the Governor of the Communications, Space & Technology Commission, Doctor Mohammed Al-Tamimi; the Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, Sami Al Hussaini; and many of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and officials.
Mismar from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won first place and a prize of $200,000, while N&E Innovations came second with a prize of $140,000, and Sommalife took third place with a prize of $70,000.
In previous years, the Entrepreneurship World Cup included several prize tracks (growth stage, early stage, idea stage, and innovation priorities), with the aim of supporting and enabling entrepreneurs from around the world to grow their projects, hone their skills, and engage with a global network of mentors and guides. In next year’s edition of the competition, in 2025, the focus will be on the space technologies track as a new strategic track covering several sub-fields such as mining, health and sports, and agriculture and resource management, in addition to the general track, with cash prizes dedicated to space technologies totaling $200,000 on top of the competition’s remaining prizes, which total $800,000.
The competition aims to encourage entrepreneurs at their various stages, from the idea stage through to the growth and expansion stage, and to help participants launch, strengthen, and scale their projects. It is the largest championship of its kind in the world.
The Entrepreneurship World Cup competition is a pivotal, life-changing experience for entrepreneurs, providing the tools and resources that help them launch their ideas and achieve success, supporting SMEs through tailored training programs, and offering opportunities to connect with a global network of mentors in an intensive training camp.
Before the winners were announced, the final round of the finals was held, including pitch presentations, panel sessions with international experts, and networking activities among the participants.
A total of 100 companies from more than 50 countries around the world competed for prizes worth up to one million US dollars.
Monsha’at organizes the Entrepreneurship World Cup in partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network, an organization operating in 200 countries with the aim of facilitating and promoting entrepreneurship.
