His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Aseer Region, opened the third edition of the Biban Forum on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” under the slogan “Biban Forum: An Idea for Ambition and Doors for Success”. The forum was opened at Abha International Exhibition Center in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Commerce and Investment, Engineer Majed bin Abdullah Al-Bawardi, and His Excellency the Governor of Monsha’at, Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed.

Upon arriving at the ceremony venue, His Royal Highness the Governor of the region toured the forum’s pavilions and doors and listened to a detailed explanation of what the forum offers to create and strengthen job opportunities and train young men and women.

The Governor of Aseer Region and his deputy then proceeded to the venue of the ceremony held for the occasion, which began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after which the audience watched a video presentation reviewing the programs and initiatives of Monsha’at and the work and training opportunities it offers to strengthen the foundations of success for entrepreneurs and future project owners.

His Excellency the Governor of Monsha’at, Engineer Saleh Al-Rasheed, delivered a speech welcoming the Governor of Aseer Region, his deputy, and the attendees. He noted that the three-day forum gives young men and women the opportunity to build a network connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and enterprise owners, which strengthens the chances of success, raises awareness among members of the community and entrepreneurs in the region, grows and develops their businesses, and creates many job opportunities.

Engineer Al-Rasheed concluded his speech by thanking the Governor of the region and his deputy for the support and facilitation they provide so that the forum achieves the desired outcome of creating investment and commercial opportunities for the nation’s young men and women in the region.

The forum reviewed several success stories and achievements from its first and second editions, after which the forum’s strategic partner, Engineer Abdulrahman Addas, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that all efforts will be focused on contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and on striving with full force to realize the directions of the Kingdom’s wise leadership and the aspirations of the nation’s young men and women. He noted that the forum seeks to expand the size of the local market sustainably and create many job opportunities for Saudi youth.

At the end of the ceremony, the Governor of Aseer Region and his deputy honored several of the forum’s success partners and received two commemorative shields presented on the occasion by the Governor of Monsha’at and the Vice Minister of Commerce and Investment.

The ceremony was attended by several of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, businessmen, and directors of government departments in the region.

The forum welcomes entrepreneurs and those aspiring to engage in commercial activities starting Thursday, September 27, and continues for 3 days.
