Monsha’at Launches the Funding Gateway at the Saudi Startups Forum

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, the Undersecretary of the Eastern Province Emirate, Doctor Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Commerce and Investment launched the Funding Gateway initiative during the Saudi Startups Forum, which concluded the day before yesterday at the headquarters of the Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Expo) in Dammam.
The Funding Gateway, established by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, is a platform that brings together entrepreneurs and SME owners seeking financing with financing entities, including banks and finance companies. The number of financing entities taking part in the gateway has reached 20 so far, and those wishing to benefit from the platform can visit the official website of the Funding Gateway initiative. The gateway is also linked to government and private entities to provide the requirements for obtaining financing.
This comes as part of Monsha’at’s efforts to reduce financing costs for entrepreneurs and SME owners, save the time and effort needed to obtain financing for enterprises from the Kingdom’s various regions, and close financing gaps by providing diverse financing solutions in a single gateway.
The Saudi Startups Forum, organized by Monsha’at, concluded amid the attendance of many visitors and young people wishing to share their ideas and projects and benefit from the workshops and consultation sessions offered during the forum.
