The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha'at" is organizing "Innovation Week" in partnership with the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, with the participation of 40 enabling entities from both the public and private sectors from April 20 to 27. The events will take place at the SMEs Support centers in Riyadh, Madinah, and the governorates of Jeddah and Al-Khobar. Innovation Week aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about investment opportunities in the innovation sector by introducing them to the services and programs provided by government, private, and financial institutions supporting small and medium enterprises. The week will host several officials from the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, and the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk," including Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Suwailem, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Dr. Badr Al-Badr, CEO of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk," and Dr. Muhammad Al-Otaibi, General Supervisor of the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, along with various guests and specialists. They will discuss the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the innovation sector and showcase available investment opportunities for entrepreneurs in this field. The week will also include a series of consultations and mentoring sessions to enhance the entry of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs into the innovation sector and to help address challenges they may encounter. Innovation Week will provide visitors and interested parties with the opportunity to know more about successful entrepreneurial experiences through specialized meetings with prominent entrepreneurs, focusing on opportunities in entrepreneurship and discussing challenges and effective solutions.
