The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha’at" is hosting “Cooperative Sector Week” from 6 to 10 July in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. Events will take place at SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar, with support from a wide range of public- and private-sector partners.

As part of the event, Monsha’at will launch the “Cooperative Societies Guide” in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The week will also feature over 30 entrepreneurship-focused sessions, advisory sessions, and the participation of 20 enabling organizations, including the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture; the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO); the Social Development Bank; the Cooperative Societies Council; and Reef Charity Foundation.
Cooperative Sector Week aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about the investment potential in the cooperative sector, while connecting them with a range of support programs and services offered by public and private entities to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) thrive.
Throughout the week, SMEs Support Councils will host a series of in-person and virtual sessions. Highlights include talks by Fares Alabduljabbar, 
Executive Director of Enterprise Lending at the Social Development Bank; Maan Al-Anqari, Director General - Cooperative Associations at the Ministry of Human Resources; and Thamer Al-Baqmi, CEO of Reef Charity Foundation, all of whom will share insights on initiatives and support mechanisms available for entrepreneurs.
