The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” concluded yesterday the Franchise Tour in Makkah, at the headquarters of Makkah Chamber, with the aim of introducing the specialized services and programs in franchising, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The tour included a panel session on the programs and services offered to brands and the opportunities for expansion and market entry, with the participation of the Chief Corporate Communication Officer at Makkah Chamber, Fadi Dahlawi, and the Advisor to the CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, Bassam Noor.
Monsha’at organized 8 specialized workshops with the contribution of several enabling entities, presenting success stories and distinguished experiences and offering consultation and guidance sessions in franchising, to stimulate expansion and investment through the franchise business model, in addition to the participation of more than 20 brands showcasing their investment opportunities to entrepreneurs and those interested.
The tour saw the signing of several brand agreements, along with the participation of 7 enabling entities from the government and private sectors that offer their services to entrepreneurs and tour participants, in addition to the presence of consultants in developing and expanding brands through franchising, building brand identity, and franchise operations and planning.
Monsha’at is keen to strengthen entrepreneurs’ capabilities in franchising through specialized initiatives and programs, given its importance and active role in supporting the SME sector. Those interested can register to attend the next tour.
