The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” concluded Industry and Mining Pioneers Week, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, with broad participation from government and private entities and the attendance of several dignitaries, senior officials, CEOs, and entrepreneurs.
Industry and Mining Pioneers Week comes as part of the series of specialized weeks Monsha’at launches, with the aim of strengthening the connection between entrepreneurs and SMEs and the enabling entities and investors in the industry and mining sectors, expanding the horizons of cooperation, and exploring promising investment opportunities in these vital sectors.
The week featured 56 meetings, 7 support councils, and workshops and consultation sessions, with the participation of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, Engineer Khalid Al-Mudaifer, and His Excellency the President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Engineer Khalid Al-Salem, along with a select group of decision-makers and experts. The week also saw the participation of 43 government and private entities and 16 exhibiting service providers, and more than 1,700 beneficiaries benefited from the services provided.
The activities included panel sessions that addressed the key topics related to the industrial sector, such as the local content revolution, the enablers offered by the industry and mineral resources system for developing SMEs, and a review of inspiring success stories.
These activities reflect Monsha’at’s pivotal role in empowering entrepreneurs and SMEs by connecting them with enabling entities, providing the right environment for growth and expansion, and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in economic diversification and empowering national talent.
