The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” signed a memorandum of understanding with the Al-Ahsa Development Authority on the sidelines of the Biban 2025 Forum, which Monsha’at organizes under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities”, in the presence of several ministers, government and private sector leaders, and representatives of entrepreneurs and SMEs.

The two sides were represented at the signing by the Deputy Governor of Monsha’at for Planning and Development, Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Al-Turaif, and the Vice President of Investment and Partnership Development at the Al-Ahsa Development Authority, Doctor Mohammed Al-Barrak.

The memorandum aims to support and stimulate entrepreneurs and SMEs in Al-Ahsa Governorate through cooperation in studying and assessing the investment environment in the governorate, contributing to strengthening its investment attractiveness and opening wider horizons for local economic growth.

This partnership reflects the ongoing joint efforts of the Al-Ahsa Development Authority and Monsha’at in enabling entrepreneurship in the region, where more than 18 quality programs targeting entrepreneurs and SMEs have been launched and implemented.

The programs included specialized workshops, training bootcamps, introductory meetings, and financing initiatives, benefiting more than 660 entrepreneurs in Al-Ahsa Governorate, with the aim of raising awareness, developing capabilities, and enabling entrepreneurial projects to expand and grow.

The Biban Forum is a leading national platform that brings together government and private entities, investors, and entrepreneurs under one umbrella, and it sees the signing of quality agreements and strategic initiatives that seek to empower the SME sector and strengthen its role in supporting the national economy and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
