The memorandum aims to explore avenues of cooperation in several areas, including preparing specialized studies, identifying the challenges facing SMEs and proposing solutions to them, and organizing workshops aimed at raising awareness of the procedures related to compliance with laws and regulations, contributing to building a sector more committed to standards and quality and raising its competitiveness locally and internationally.

The memorandum affirms Monsha’at’s strategic role in empowering the sector and strengthening partnerships with relevant entities to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in raising the efficiency of the national economy and ensuring the sustainability of SMEs.

The National Center for Inspection and Monitoring was established by Cabinet Resolution No. 277 dated 2/4/1445H to coordinate inspection and monitoring efforts among government entities and to develop plans and programs for improving inspection and monitoring mechanisms and the procedures that ensure transparency and integrity in monitoring and inspection work. The center aims to reduce the burden of repeated monitoring visits on private sector enterprises, raise compliance rates, contribute to improving the business environment in the Kingdom, and strengthen the efficiency of inspection and monitoring work in general.
