Strong Presence of Women Entrepreneurs in Startups Door at Biban 2025

The participation of women entrepreneurs in the Startups Door at the Biban 2025 forum recorded a prominent presence, with startups founded by women accounting for about 18.5% of all companies taking part in this track, which numbered more than 1,000 startups, reflecting the growing role of women in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship landscape, particularly in the technology, creative, and service sectors.
The fields in which women entrepreneurs took part in the door ranged from communications and information technology, digital health, and innovative financial services to culture, entertainment, and trade and services. The companies presented business models based on digital solutions, data, and artificial intelligence applications, along with products that can scale in local and regional markets.
The Startups Door at Biban provides practical tracks to support women founders, including live pitches to investors, promotional display corners, and professional networking areas with enabling entities and accelerators, in addition to one-on-one meetings to facilitate access to financing, commercial partnerships, and distribution channels.
These indicators reflect the ongoing efforts of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, as part of its strategy to enable women’s entrepreneurship, through specialized programs and services aimed at supporting the establishment of projects, building capabilities, and connecting companies with markets, investors, and experts.
The Biban 2025 forum, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” from November 5 to 8, is a leading national platform and a global destination for opportunities. It aims to enable male and female entrepreneurs and to strengthen the growth of SMEs through a comprehensive environment that brings together financing, technology, and commercial solutions under one roof.
The forum comes as part of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to support entrepreneurship, empower women, and stimulate the private sector’s contribution to the national economy.
