Monsha’at Organizes Social Entrepreneurship Week with Participation of More Than 44 Public and Private Sector Entities

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, in partnership with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector and the Social Development Bank, will launch the Social Entrepreneurship Week from June 14 to 18, as part of the Authority’s business weeks series. The event aims to highlight the importance of the social entrepreneurship sector and its vital role in empowering SMEs, enhancing their growth and sustainability, and connecting entrepreneurs with social investment opportunities and specialized partnerships within the sector.

The event will bring together more than 44 entities from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, including the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the National Center for Environmental Compliance, the Quality of Life Program, King Khalid Foundation, Entrepreneurship Vision Association, and several organizations specializing in social investment and community development.

The week will be hosted at SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, Al-Khobar, and Aseer Region, enabling a broad range of entrepreneurs, SME owners, and individuals interested in social entrepreneurship to participate from across the Kingdom.

The program will feature more than eight keynote sessions and 50 entrepreneurial meetings, in addition to specialized consultation sessions and exhibition booths, with the participation of senior officials, experts, and specialists. Featured speakers include His Royal Highness Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser, Founder and Chairman of Entrepreneurship Vision Association; His Excellency Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Almushaiti, Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture; and Her Royal Highness Princess Nouf bint Mohammed bin Abdullah, CEO of King Khalid Foundation, alongside a distinguished group of leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

The week will address several key themes, including investment opportunities for social enterprises in sustainability, food security, and resources management; the role of social investment in transforming community solutions into sustainable and scalable business models; the importance of collaboration between non-profit organizations and social enterprises; and the contribution of the developmental institutions to building the capabilities and readiness of social enterprises for growth and long-term sustainability.

Social Entrepreneurship Week reflects Monsha’at’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and enable SMEs to benefit from promising opportunities in high-impact social sectors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to promote sustainable development and increase the non-profit sector's contribution to GDP.
