The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” attracted over 12,697 beneficiaries through its Business Weeks initiative during the first half of 2026, with the participation of 240 organizations from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including 73 exhibiting organizations. The initiative also featured 31 keynote sessions and 218 entrepreneurship networking events, underscoring its growing role in connecting entrepreneurs and SMEs with regulators, enabling entities, support services, and investment opportunities across high-potential sectors.

These results reflect the increasing impact of sector-focused initiatives in bringing together service and program providers with entrepreneurs and SMEs within a unified ecosystem, making it easier to access tailored support and opportunities that address the specific needs of each sector.

Business Weeks is one of Monsha’at’s flagship initiatives, bringing together government, private, and nonprofit organizations with entrepreneurs and SME owners through a series of sector-focused events. Each edition highlights a specific industry, enabling participants to explore investment opportunities, discover business support services, and build strategic partnerships.

The initiative offers an integrated program of panel discussions, networking events, workshops, consultation and guidance sessions, while also hosting direct dialogues between entrepreneurs, SME owners, senior government officials, and decision-makers. These discussions showcase investment opportunities, address challenges facing SMEs, and facilitate collaboration with relevant stakeholders to develop practical solutions. Through the participation of government, private, and nonprofit organizations, beneficiaries gain direct access to investment opportunities, support services, programs, and business solutions tailored to targeted sectors.

Participating organizations are also provided with a platform to showcase their services and initiatives, engage directly with their target audiences, strengthen connections with entrepreneurs and SMEs, and establish new partnerships. Activities are held at Monsha’at’s SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, and Madinah, in addition to virtual events.

During the first half of 2026, Business Weeks focused on four key sectors: sports, innovation, funding, and social entrepreneurship. The events highlighted investment opportunities in these industries while exploring financing solutions, credit guarantees, emerging technologies, digital transformation, and socially impactful business models in collaboration with relevant government, private, and nonprofit organizations.

Business Weeks will continue throughout the second half of 2026. The recently concluded Real Estate and Construction Week, held in July, brought together more than 40 public and private sector organizations and attracted over 3,000 beneficiaries. The initiative will continue with upcoming editions dedicated to education, legal services, healthcare, industry, artificial intelligence, and exports, further expanding coverage of high-growth sectors and strengthening links between entrepreneurs, SMEs, investment opportunities, support services, and enabling entities.

The first-half results reaffirm the initiative’s continued success in building an integrated ecosystem that connects enabling organizations with entrepreneurs and SMEs, expands access to support services and programs, fosters strategic partnerships, and promotes the sustainable growth of SMEs in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
