The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” announced that refunded government fees under the Estrdad initiative exceeded SAR 255 million ($68 million), benefiting over 8,800 eligible small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while around 38,000 businesses initially met eligibility requirements.

Monsha'at said the initiative targets enterprises that launched operations between 2024 and 2026 to ease financial burdens and enhance operational liquidity during their founding years.

The program covers ten main government fees and expenses, including commercial registration, economic activity licenses, chamber of commerce and Saudi Post subscriptions, patent registration fees, and a refund of up to 80% on expatriate worker financial levies.

Monsha'at said registration for the initiative remains open until the end of 2026, with disbursement of due amounts to eligible enterprises extending through 2028 according to approved payment schedules.
