The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” launched the Promising Technologies Business Accelerator program, which targets SMEs in promising technology fields, such as e-commerce technologies, financial technologies, artificial intelligence technologies, and software technologies, with the aim of supporting startups in the innovation field and injecting more innovative projects into the national economy. The program seeks to support participating enterprises and establish them on sound foundations that strengthen their chances of success in the Saudi market, by connecting startup owners with highly experienced specialists in the field, providing investment opportunities in these companies, and offering training programs, consultation packages, and various resources in the field to enable them to achieve their entrepreneurial goals and aspirations. The program also aims to provide many job and investment opportunities in the Saudi market, in line with Vision 2030 in achieving sustainable development by transforming the Kingdom into a destination for innovation in promising technologies and developing the national economy by increasing SMEs’ contributions to GDP. During the program, which will run for 12 weeks, participating enterprises will receive an intensive training camp on data and how to make use of it, many workshops, guidance packages, and financial grants, in addition to a package of services to equip them with the necessary skills under the direction of specialized experts in the field. Program graduates will also receive financing services by being connected with government and private entities, along with follow-up on their progress in the post-graduation period. Monsha’at has set this February as the start of registration for the program and invites all enterprises that meet the requirements to register promptly for the accelerator, and to seize the opportunities offered by the Promising Technologies Business Accelerator to strengthen their entrepreneurial roles and place them among the nation’s innovative enterprises.
