I am a Saudi Blagi

Blagat comes from "blaj" or "balaj". "Balaj" is a classical Arabic word meaning the morning, or the break of dawn, its very beginning, as in "the morning has broken". In Blagat it is meant as the plural of "blaj": radiance, mornings, light, clarity, or brilliant whiteness, all of which point to the same meaning. It is also said to mean beaches or tourist destinations, and Allah knows best.

As for us at Blagat, the reason for the name is that it is a place for people to gather and share joy, fun, entertainment, and tourism together (sharing in entertainment)
It was registered as a trademark with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property under number 318905 on 4/4/1443H. The logo was designed by a professional international design studio and built in the form of a palm trunk shaped like a tower, symbolizing the Saudi future without abandoning the past, which is the palm tree, with branches bearing dates like pieces of pure gold. The meaning is that we as Saudis stand at the top of the tower in our pursuit of progress and modernity while preserving our heritage, and that we offer the world gold from our land rich in bounty (the dates are likened to pieces of gold). One logo was made in Arabic and another in English
The phrase "sharing in entertainment" was also officially registered with the Authority and put forward as an innovative Saudi concept that is unique in Saudi Arabia, if not in the world (to be explained later), and it is the goal of the entire platform and app

We are a group of technology enthusiasts, especially of entertainment and tourism and of how to make them participatory, but with an innovative and unprecedented Saudi artistic blend. I am Abdullah, a Saudi Blagi, and with me is my brother, friend, and partner in the love of Najd Al-Athiyah, a person who is three-quarters Saudi, Iyad the Blagi, and with us a group of Blagis: Sarah, Jamla, Dhaifallah, Noura, and Waleed as Saudi Blagis, and a group of non-Saudi Blagis: Waleed, Saddam, Akmal, and Tariq

Our headquarters is on the finest road, King Fahd Road, and we made sure it is in a building of the Sheikh Al Rajhi Endowments, in the heart of Najd Al-Athiyah, by Abu Turki Palace in Al-Murabba, in Al-Wisham district
We are licensed by the dear and wonderful Ministry of Tourism under number 73103475 as a Saudi platform and head office operating in sharing in entertainment and tourism, including 16 tourism services, among them the following
- Events and occasions - Holiday homes - Ticketing - Organizing tourism exhibitions - Coordinating heritage events - Booking and accommodation
Based on all of that, we offer the following products, which are exclusive as of the date of writing this description, namely

* Week Bla End (Blagat Golden Days), also known as the midweek days rather than the weekend, which owners of entertainment and tourism facilities call the vacant days: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
* Holiday homes (Blagat Houses): real income for Saudi home owners, men and women, carrying many noble meanings in spreading Saudi identity, Saudi hospitality, and Saudi culture, peer to peer
* Blagat Celebrates Communities (exciting experiences): this innovative program genuinely helps raise spending by foreigners in Saudi Arabia and thus supports the national economy
* Day or Night (booking and pay-per-use only): this program serves the citizen as the owner of a chalet, home, camp, or rest house, and the citizen or customer (it raises demand for the product remarkably, God willing)
* Deals (24 hours left): in the last few hours of unbooked days, the facility owner can log in to the app through their own dashboard and turn that day into a deal at an attractive price, programmatically and professionally, through the dynamic Blagat platform. A countdown timer is placed on it and a message goes out electronically to everyone registered in the app and on our accounts that there is a deal, so it gets booked before it is lost. This creates income for the owner, who is a Saudi citizen, and as I mentioned earlier, this contributes to achieving quality of life
* Blagat Hospitality (preparing the home to join global rental platforms such as Gathern, Airbnb, Almosafer, Booking, Blagat, Amaken, and Jalsat): we provide a respectable hospitality basket containing packs of 7 Saudi dates from all regions of the Kingdom, such as AlUla, Al-Madinah, Najd, Al-Wadi, Qassim, Al-Ahsa, and Bisha, offered as a free gift (a large quantity was produced, praise be to Allah), and it was welcomed and supported by our colleagues at Monsha’at at the LEAP exhibition
An electronic platform was built in multiple dynamic and interactive programming languages such as Vue, in harmony with a high-quality app built in PHP Laravel and Native, through more than 6 months of hard work at a rate of 8 hours a day by a Saudi development team in a fully Saudi company from A to Z (more than 8 developers worked on the app and the platform), Star Tech Saudi company, with all payments VAT-compliant for every entity we worked with, and all through our modest means
* The platform is registered in the Saudi .sa domain
* All licenses required to operate have been obtained from the government, such as the following
* Zakat and income tax (with an integrated accounting system linked to VAT from the start of the project)
* Official online accounts have been created on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
* Photography equipment has been purchased, with professional female and male photographers, or in cooperation with local entities such as Timecode, Dream, or Almasia
* Local content has been provided by working with Tesaa Ashar Bahr, Khamsat, and others
* All filmed work is licensed, and photos or posts are purchased officially with VAT invoices through Shutterstock; even for music we made sure to buy it rather than download it free from YouTube.
* We work professionally through genuine communication with people via the official email info@blagat.sa, direct phone numbers, and our other accounts
* Bookings are made through an official electronic payment gateway from a Saudi service provider, URWAY, which makes us among the most committed, from the very start of the business, to everything lawful and far from any fraud, money laundering, or the like
- We provide an electronic contract through a Saudi lawyer who works with us in the same office, Ms. Noura Al-Bishi, full time in the legal department
* We are in continuous contact with the licensing authority, the Ministry of Tourism or the Saudi Tourism Authority, almost daily, on every matter large and small
* We offer an innovative box under the slogan "We are proud of our Saudi identity": a box of 7 dates offered free of charge, bearing the following logos (( Made in Saudi - Spirit of Saudi - Saudi Sadu, registered with UNESCO as Saudi human heritage - the lavender carpet of His Highness the Crown Prince used in royal ceremonies, embroidered with Saudi Sadu - the 2030 logo - the Ministry of Culture logo - the words "Distributed free to the guests of Saudi Arabia" - the words "Every date tells a story" ))
* Some services have been launched for service providers only, not for sale
* The app has been launched on Google Android and the App Store
* The platform has official phone numbers with an Arabic-language answering service around the clock
* There is an official listing on Google with the blue star
* There is a large server to provide the best service to the Blagat partner, owners of facilities or homes, and lovers of exciting experiences
* The first official Saudi platform to offer a service for sharing your exciting experience through free software apps for the public
* The lowest rate or commission in the market (5%), recorded in the contract, and amounts are transferred to owners very quickly once a booking is made, on scheduled electronic dates rather than selective transfers
* A self-service purchasing device for the representative, where needed, to reach a convenient rental process
* A bus has been provided for distribution and shipping preparation
* A small car for transporting the female call center employees
* Finally, this project was undertaken after a full 18-month study during the coronavirus period, and how it led to the closure of thousands of chalets, rest houses, camps, resorts, farms, stables, and caves, and the suspension of holiday home services because of people's fear and the government's determination to prevent the spread of the pandemic. From here came the idea of putting the vacant days to use in order to create additional income for facility owners, who are Saudis. After meeting with dozens of them, it became clear to me that these days are vacant to a large extent, reaching 70% throughout the year, which means more than 6 months a year, at roughly 140 to 180 days. This means a classic loss that has continued for years for most service providers. From here came the idea of marketing those days now by linking them to the occasions of expatriate communities, who number in the millions in Saudi Arabia, reaching 13 million. This means that if we succeed with only 10% of this large number, it means income reaching millions of riyals, and this income serves Saudi owners, and thus serves the country, and thus constitutes a contribution by Blagat to the national economy, and thus we will have supported Saudi Vision 2030, and in any case they are all linked together, in my humble opinion.

Also, may Allah preserve you, it contributes to spreading enjoyment, and thus to facility owners developing these facilities because they are used more, which contributes to providing better services to people in tourism and entertainment, at a level that will reach the global stage over time. That is why we made Blagat's description "bringing tourism services to a global level", God willing, if we receive support, because in reality we are just a beautiful and purposeful idea that needs government sponsorship, while assuring you that we are at the height of seriousness and ambition
