Monsha’at Launches “University Entrepreneurs” Competition to Develop Campus Startups

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at” has announced the launch of the "University Entrepreneurs" competition, aimed at promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among Saudi university students, faculty, and staff. The initiative seeks to enhance the innovative environment for university-based projects, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The program is designed to instill entrepreneurial thinking at an early stage through intensive training camps, empowering participants to develop and scale their startup ideas. It targets students and affiliates of Saudi universities, encouraging the transformation of academic projects into viable ventures.
The competition kicks off with a virtual bootcamp featuring 30 teams, from which 10 teams will qualify for the next phase. This includes an intensive in-person training camp, followed by the final event, where the top three projects will be selected. Winners will gain the opportunity to represent the Kingdom in regional and global entrepreneurship competitions, in addition to receiving financial incentives.
Through this initiative, Monsha’at aims to build a comprehensive entrepreneurial ecosystem within Saudi universities and open new avenues for students to grow their startups. The Authority also encourages those interested to register through the following link:
