Monsha’at Concludes Real Estate and Construction Week with Participation from 60 Entities and Over 3,000 Beneficiaries

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at”, in partnership with the Real Estate General Authority and the Saudi Contractors Authority, concluded Real Estate and Construction Week, part of its Business Weeks series. The event brought together 60 public and private sector entities and attracted more than 3,000 beneficiaries, aiming to connect entrepreneurs and SMEs with investment opportunities in the real estate and construction sectors, while linking them to enabling entities, funding solutions, and strategic partnerships.
The week featured 28 exhibitors, 8 keynote sessions, more than 60 entrepreneurial networking events, and over 650 business consultation and guidance sessions. Activities were hosted through SMEs Support Centers in Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, and Al Khobar, as well as in Abha in collaboration with Aseer Region Development Authority and Work Corner Incubator, and in Sakaka in partnership with the Culture House.
The sessions explored a range of topics related to the real estate and construction sectors, including investment opportunities, enabling SMEs to benefit from major development projects, strengthening their participation in supply chains, financing solutions, proptech, strategic partnerships, and best practices that support business growth and sustainability. The discussions featured government officials, industry experts, and specialists from both the public and private sectors.
During the event, Monsha’at and the Saudi Contractors Authority signed a cooperation agreement to support SMEs operating in the construction sector. The agreement aims to develop joint services and programs, strengthen integration between the two entities’ platforms and initiatives, and enhance SMEs’ readiness to capitalize on opportunities across the sector.
Speaking during one of the event's panel discussions, Abdulaziz Al Alyan, Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC), highlighted the growing investment opportunities created by Riyadh’s major development projects for SMEs. He noted that infrastructure project permits increased from approximately 50,000 in 2017 to nearly 195,000 in 2025, reflecting the sector’s rapid growth.
Al Alyan added that the Center has unified technical requirements through the Infrastructure Projects Code, making project requirements and procedures easier for companies, particularly SMEs, to navigate throughout the project lifecycle. He also highlighted the Center’s collaboration with Monsha’at in fostering innovation and its adoption of Jadeer platform classification, which expands SMEs’ access to infrastructure projects.
During another session, Abdulaziz Al Shathri, General Manager of Dispute Resolution at the Saudi Real Estate Arbitration Center, emphasized that arbitration has become a widely recognized mechanism for supporting the business and investment ecosystem. He explained that the Center offers specialized real estate dispute resolution services that provide SMEs with faster and more flexible procedures, noting that the average arbitration process is now completed within 30 days.
Throughout the week, entrepreneurs and SME owners had the opportunity to explore investment opportunities, discover services and programs offered by participating entities, build strategic partnerships, and benefit from specialized consultations and expert-led sessions covering key developments in the real estate and Construction sectors.
Real Estate and Construction Week is part of Monsha’at’s year-round Business Weeks initiative, which focuses on key economic and development sectors. The initiative aims to strengthen the SME support ecosystem by connecting businesses with enabling entities, services, programs, and investment opportunities, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness, growth, and long-term sustainability in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
